The SENRO kuro is a high-quality standard Shinai featuring a thicker Tsuka designed to provide a stable and comfortable grip.

The thicker grip is particularly suitable for kendoka with larger hands and can also help practitioners who tend to grip the Tsuka too tightly achieve a more relaxed hold. Its balance creates a lighter sensation toward the tip, contributing to responsive and comfortable handling during Keiko.

Made in Japan, each Shinai is carefully assembled using selected bamboo slats and leather components, then individually adjusted by hand.
