The KOBAN is a high-quality standard Shinai featuring an oval grip designed to provide a more natural hold and a clearer sense of blade orientation.

The oval-shaped Tsuka helps improve Tenouchi and makes it easier to feel the direction of the Shinai, supporting more precise and consistent Hasuji. Its balance, with the centre of gravity positioned slightly closer to the Tsuka, also contributes to stable and responsive handling.

Made in Japan, each Shinai is carefully assembled using selected bamboo slats and leather components, then individually adjusted by hand.
