Koto Shinai with Octagonal Oval Grip – BUKUN

The BUKUN is a Koto Shinai featuring an octagonal oval grip designed to provide precise hand positioning, stable control and a clear sense of blade alignment.

Combined with a traditional Koto-style balance, the grip allows refined and responsive handling while helping the hands maintain a natural position. This makes the BUKUN particularly suitable for kendoka who value precision, Tenouchi and technical control of the Shinai.

Its stable handling is especially appreciated during counter techniques and movements requiring accurate blade orientation.
