Extra Large Grip Shinai – SHUGOSHIN

The SHUGOSHIN is a Jissengata Shinai featuring an extra-thick and slightly shorter Tsuka, designed to provide greater stability and control at the hands.

This configuration helps transmit power efficiently while maintaining quick and responsive handling. The thicker grip is particularly comfortable for kendoka with larger hands or practitioners who prefer a more substantial grip, while the shorter Tsuka facilitates compact movements during close-range exchanges and Tsubazeriai.

Available in sizes 39 and 37, with the size 37 also suitable for Nito practice.
